June 1, 2009 SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS
Dear Parents and Students: It is our belief that summer assignments serve three important functions; namely, they (1) provide our students with the opportunity to exercise academic skills, (2) prepare students for the challenges of advanced courses, and (3) prepare students for the start of the year so that we make effective use of instructional time from day one of the new year.
