Dear NHSD and LES Families,

Welcome to the Lower Elementary School, a truly "special place to learn and grow".

Our newly renovated school welcomes students in grades kindergarten, one and two. Our All Day Kindergarten program offers students an opportunity to participate in a holistic approach to literacy and learning, emphasizing academic, social, art, music and physical education skills.

Our classrooms, resource rooms and learning environments are well equipped to maximize comfort, safety, enjoyment and achievement. Attending our LES is an exciting experience for your child and your family. We always encourage a strong home and school partnership. Your interest, ideas, questions comments and especially your support are vitally important.

Our teachers and entire staff will do our very best to have your child feel successful, secure, happy and productive. We are fortunate to be able to offer a full range of educational opportunities and support to meet the challenges of our community.
