Do you have a Facebook friend policy? Your purpose for having a Facebook wall may change as time goes by. Sometimes Facebook users forget who is reading their posts.

  1. They're still exploring who they are.

  2. They're still being mean to each other.

  3. They're still searching for connections and validation.

  4. They're still experimenting with risky behavior.

What has changed is the fact that there could very well be a permanent record of all of this exploration, one with implications that kids can't predict or control.
