Welcome to New Hope-Solebury Middle School

    It is my pleasure to work in a school system where parents, teachers, staff, and community members truly collaborate in educating our children.  In New Hope-Solebury, we take pride in our commitment to excellence. Our district mission is to “strive to inspire and empower our students to become passionate, confident, life-long learners, with the skills and strength of character to contribute to a diverse and ever-changing world.”

    Our middle school follows our district’s mission with an emphasis on Respect, Responsibility, and Relationships. We have 365 students who are teamed by grade level, and these learning communities create meaningful, interdisciplinary opportunities for students to grow and learn.  There is a strong emphasis on character development through many of our initiatives.  Student leadership is a focus for our school; we want every child to have an opportunity to lead others and to utilize their unique talents. 

    Teachers and staff members form strong connections with our students to help them grow socially, emotionally and behaviorally.  As a middle school, we believe in educating the whole child; providing that foundation will lead our students to great success in life.  We are fortunate to have a vibrant Parent- Teacher Group who are involved and visible in our school.

New Hope is a town that is known for its rich history, artistic accomplishments, and culture, and our students have many opportunities because of that.  A commitment to children thrives here and is supported by the larger community. During my 18 years in education, I have had the privilege of serving in several school systems. I feel exceptionally fortunate to be a part of the New Hope-Solebury community.
