District Art Show Volunteers Needed

Please note that on Wednesday, November 7^th, 2007, Comcast will be changing their channel lineup. The Educational Channel/NHSD-TV which is currently on channel 27 will be moved to channel 28.

Starting February 2nd, the New Hope–Solebury School District will have a security presence on its campus from the end of the school day through any activities that are scheduled in the evening.

This oversight will be performed by a uniformed, New Hope policeman. This service will continue through the end of the school year.

The New Hope – Solebury School District is being proactive in putting a security presence in place for its events on both campuses. There have been no incidents that have precluded this action. However, as our community continues to grow, there are many adults that attend our events, and who are in our parking lots, that are unknown to all of the staff. The staff members overseeing our events are becoming less comfortable with this responsibility. Our primary concern for our students and community members is being safe.
This officer, David Sempowski, will help us to achieve that end.
