Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to the UES! As building principal, I am very proud to represent the staff, students and parents of this school. It is my hope to create an environment that is comfortable for everyone academically, socially and emotionally. Setting the foundation of trust, respect and acceptance will ultimately result in true learning.
The UES is a school that captures the hearts and minds of students and adults while focusing on an educational environment. As a 3-5 building, our goal is to help prepare students and parents for the next level at the middle and high school. Our greater hope is that our kids can learn and apply their knowledge to the real world. That when presented with conflict, they know how to resolve it, when presented with decisions, they can make them, and when presented with people of all backgrounds, they know how to interact positively and respectfully... lessons of life that can take them to all places!
Education is more than just teaching and learning, it is about educating the "whole child" in mind, body and spirit giving them the passion, wisdom and happiness that life has to offer.
Please take the time to read about the UES, come visit and ask questions. Your input is welcomed and support appreciated!
Thank you!
