This program requires that we serve meals that meet the NSLP nutrition guidelines as well as the Nutritional Standards for Competitive Foods in Pennsylvania Schools, developed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition. These standards address the issues related to the Wellness initiatives mandated by the Federal Government.BREAKFAST PRICES
LES/UES - The cost for student breakfast is $1.65
MS/HS - The cost for student breakfast is $1.85LUNCH PRICES
LES / UES – The cost for student lunch is $2.90
MS / HS – The cost for student lunch is $3.35
A computerized prepayment account system is operational in all Cafeterias. This system allows parents to pay in advance, and speeds the time of service, allowing for more time for students to enjoy their meal.
Payments can be made either by cash or by check, payable to New Hope-Solebury Cafeteria Fund, or online atThe Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 requires all School Food Authorities (SFAs) to inform families about the availability and location of free meals for students over the summer months through the Summer Food Service Program. This is required even if the SFA is not participating in the Summer Meals Program.
The LEA may fulfill the requirement of notifying the community of locations of summer meal sites, through one of the methods listed below. This may be accomplished through phone calls, flyers or other methods such as, posting on the SFAs website.
Schools or families can use any of the following methods to locate sites that serve free meals to children during the summer:

· Text “MEALPA” to 877877 during the summer months
· Visit the website: www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks (note, this replaces the whyhunger.org website)
