    St. Baldrick’s Community Event: The New Hope Solebury St. Baldrick’s annual event is this Saturday, May 11 at the UES. See NHSD students and staff shaving their heads to support the cause, enjoy carnival games, face-painting, and arts & crafts facilitated by student volunteers, and explore silent auction items and raffles. Any adults interested to volunteer for St. Baldrick’s are invited to sign up here.

    Robert Nagg Memorial Game and Jersey Mike’s Fundraiser: Support the Robert Nagg Memorial Fund by attending the 12th Annual Memorial Game on Saturday, May 11, featuring current NHS soccer players against recent alumni. You can also support the Nagg Fund by dining at Jersey Mike’s on Friday, May 10 or by ordering a commemorative t-shirt. All proceeds support NHSD stadium improvements.

    Girls Softball Fundraiser: Enjoy ice cream from Owowcow Creamery in Lambertville while supporting our Lions Girls Softball team. The fundraiser will run throughout the upcoming weekendMay 10-12. Mention NHS Girls Softball when ordering.

    Class of 2026 Ice Cream Fundraiser: Visit Owowcow Creamery in Lambertville anytime from Monday, May 13 – Sunday, May 19 and a portion of your purchase can support the NHS Class of 2026. Please mention New Hope-Solebury when ordering.

    Class of 2024 Senior Student Dinner: Will be held on Wednesday, June 5 from 5-6:30 pm in the High School Cafeteria. Please see this flyer for more details.

    From Mr. Barth: Attention all Juniors and Seniors, in order to attend Prom on Thursday, May 30, you must meet academic eligibility requirements. This means that you cannot be failing more than one course. If you are failing more than one course by Tuesday, May 28you may not attend Prom. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Barth.

    HS Music Concerts: Please join us for concerts featuring our High School Band and Orchestra on Tuesday, May 7, and our High School Choir on Wednesday, May 8. Both concerts start at 7:00 PM and will be held in the Buck Theater.

    Parent Coaching: Through our partnership with the Cook Center for Human Connection, district parents/guardians can access confidential parent coaching services, including weekly calls with a coach or 24/7 messaging with a 24-hour response. Learn more and register here: ENGLISH SPANISH

    Coffee and Conversation with Dr. Lentz: Join Superintendent Dr. Lentz for Coffee and Conversation on Thursday, May 9 at 9:00 AM. The conversation will focus on Lion Legacy 2030, and our vision for future facility improvements to support our academic programming. Registration required.

    Introduction to Islam: The NHSD Equity Committee invites you to an educational program, An Introduction to Islam: Beliefs and Practices, with representatives from Faith Unity Islamic Center on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30 PM in the District Office Conference Room. Registration required.

    The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania is excited to offer the "Future Assistant United States Attorney" program, a free week-long experience to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the federal legal system. This program offers a chance for students currently in grades 9-11 to discover the world of federal law, observe court cases, and interact with key leaders. Check out this flyer for more information. The application is due Friday, May 31.
     

    SAFETY AND HEALTH REMINDER

    Whenever your child is experiencing symptoms of a communicable illness, please remember that students must be free of fever (without fever reducing medication), vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. Thank you for helping to keep our school community safe and healthy.
