HSA Family Directory: The Home and School Association would like to create the opportunity for interested families to share contact information with other NHSD families through an online directory. To participate, the form to register is available here. Please be aware that your participation is completely voluntary and that the school district will not be managing the data collection and distribution for the directory.

Great Pennsylvania Schools
We are proud to announce that our district has earned the Pennsylvania School Boards Association's (PSBA) designation as a Great Pennsylvania School! This ribbon reflects our commitment to innovative programming and signifies overall excellence in academic achievement, governance, and planning. NHSD is among the first districts in the state to earn this important recognition.

First Grade Role Model
Mrs. Hess's kindergarten class had a special visit from her former student, first grader David Hufnagel, this week. When given the kindergarten class assignment to write numbers up to 100, David took the initiative to write his numbers all the way up to 3,200.

STEAM Holiday Workshop
The first grade students visited the high school STEAM lab for some Holiday Workshop fun. They threw snowballs in a virtual environment, built wooden toys, and had a holiday dance party!

Diversity Circus
This assembly show is like a carnival that celebrates character. Kids learn that getting along is what’s most important in our communities and schools. Kids learn to celebrate differences and appreciate the gifts every culture has to offer.

LES Flexible Learning Space
The Lower Elementary School has added some new flexible learning spaces to provide an alternate learning environment for the Littlest Lions.
