    An integral part of our College and Career Pathways program is offering students ongoing career preparation experiences. These will include guest presentations, panels on specific career topics, mock interviews, resume workshops, and more. See some recent highlights below. 

  • STEM Careers Panel

    On students interested in careers in the health sciences had the opportunity to attend a HealthWorks panel featuring globally-regarded scientists from pharmaceutical company Merck.     NHS Career Fair

    NHSD launched its first-ever Career Fair in 2022, introducing students to thirty different career professionals and their organizations. Students interacted with guests to hear about their day-to-day responsibilities, the journey that shaped their choice, and the path to pursue that career. Click to view a list of the participants.

    Mock Interviews

    Students had the opportunity to enhance their interviewing skills with mock sessions conducted by guest professionals. Students answered questions about their experiences and aspirations and were given constructive feedback to assist them with college interviews and future job applications.
