    LES Holiday Shop: Community members are invited to the LES Holiday Shop this Saturday, December 3 from 9AM-1PM. Choose from thousands of gifts between $1-$5.


    Absences/Tardy-  Please send an email to UESattendance@nhsd.org,or a note in to the office if  you will be late, leaving early or absent.

    Sapphire Community Portal-The Sapphire Community Portal is now open for creating parent/guardian accounts. Learn more here . Please note: Parents/guardians must apply for accounts. We kindly request you allow up to 5 business days for your account to be approved. Questions? Please submit a HelpDesk ticket .

    Bus Tracking- To stay informed regarding your child(ren)’s transit on District buses and to receive alerts if the bus is running late, we encourage families to utilize the FirstView app for your smartphone or desktop. To learn more about the app’s features and to get started , click here .

    School Cafe Information-  SchoolCafe is our district's food service application. Our food service staff will use this to process payments in the school cafeterias. Families can use SchoolCafe to add funds to your child(ren)’s Food Service Account, to apply for free or reduced-price meals, to view menus, and to review your child(ren)'s purchase history. 

    Free Breakfast: A reminder to families that our school cafeterias offer free breakfast for all students each day. The LES/UES cafeteria is open between 8:25AM – 8:45AM. Menus are available here.  

    Homework Club- Does your child need extra help with there homework?  If so the Homework Club is for you.  Please click here for more information. Please fill out the attached form if you are interested.

     The HSA has a lot of events planned for the 2022-23 school year and needs help from volunteers! If you are interested in helping out, please fill out this form and a member of the HSA Board will reach out to you with more details about the event(s)!   Please contact nhshsa.events@gmail.com with any questions. 

    Health Office- All students in Third grade are required to have a dental exam.
    If you have not already done so, please send this form in or email to the nurse as soon as possible.  Please click here for physical and dental forms.



    Whenever your child is experiencing symptoms of
    a communicable illness, please remember that students must be free of fever (without fever reducing medication), vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. Thank you for helping to keep our school community safe and healthy.

    Education Fund STAR Program- As we approach the holidays,  the NHS Education Fund’s STAR Program is a wonderful way to recognize an outstanding NHSD teacher or staff member while also supporting extraordinary learning experiences for all NHS students. Make a donation to the Education Fund in honor of your STAR, and they will receive a special certificate to acknowledge your contribution. STAR recognitions are due before  Friday, December 16.

    Upcoming Musical Performances: Join us for a series of winter music concerts this month! The UES Instrumental Music concert is Tuesday 12/6 at 7:00PM in the UES LGI. The Middle School Instrumental Concert is Tuesday 12/13 at 7:00PM in the Buck Theater. The Middle School and High School Choral Concert is Thursday 12/15 at 7:00PM in the Buck Theater.
