    From Food Services: Encourage your students to join us in the school cafeteria this week as we celebrate National School Breakfast Week with new menu items, prizes, and giveaways! Email director Melanie Pittner at mpittner@nhsd.org to reserve tickets. Support NHS St. Baldrick’s: The New Hope-Solebury St. Baldrick’s Community Event has cumulatively raised over $1.2 Million for pediatric cancer research in memory of two New Hope-Solebury students, Ethan Toohey and Robert Nagg. Students, staff, and families in our community interested to shave their heads or donate 8” of hair to support this year’s event can register here. Boys Lacrosse Gear: The Lions Boys Lacrosse gear store is open now through Sunday, March 10. Proceeds of the sales support the team. Order here. NHS Basketball Camp: Students entering grades 2-9 are invited to youth basketball camp a  Information Here   from June 17 - June 20 with our Lions basketball coaches, Mike Connors and Steve Polinsky. Campers will have the opportunity to develop and learn basketball skills while having fun! All proceeds benefit NHS Girls & Boys High School Basketball Teams. .


    Course Verifications: Students will have access to their verification forms from Friday, March 22 through Friday, April 5, which is the last day to request changes to a schedule. Speak to your guidance counselor or Mrs. Park for further clarification. Egg Your Yard: Our HS Key Club is ready to "Egg Your Yard” in late March, scattering prefilled eggs for all to enjoy. Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Simple Gifts project. Register by Friday, March 15.

    Fall Sports Interest Meetings: Interested student-athletes and their guardians are invited to meetings with the team coaches in anticipation of the fall season. Meetings are as follows:

    Mental Health Webinar: Our next webinar in partnership with the Cook Center for Human Connection, How to Motivate Your Child, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13 at 7 PM.  Join licensed Family & Marriage therapist, Brett Williams, as he shares ways to motivate your child and develop intrinsic values within them. Please find attached our Spring Open House flyer and please share it with those who you think will be interested in this event. Open House will be held on March 23rd from 6 PM-8 PM in the Linksz Pavilion on BCCC’s Newtown Campus. Academic deans, Admissions, Financial Aid, Advising & Transfer, Student Life, and more will be there to help answer all your questions.     Whenever your child is experiencing symptoms of a communicable illness, please remember that students must be free of fever (without fever reducing medication), vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. Thank you for helping to keep our school community safe and healthy.
