Reminder: if you purchased a yearbook during our picture day sale in October, you do not need to purchase again. Kids' Heart Challenge: Our Kid’s Heart Challenge event is underway at the LES/UES. When it comes to raising funds for heart disease, our school ROCKS! Car pick up: Please do not enter the car line in the afternoon until 3:05. The gate will be locked and there is no place to wait without blocking our school entrance. Car pick up runs from 3:25-3:40 on the side of the building. Morning car drop off is in the same place from 8:25-8:45.
Mental Health Resources: Our guidance team would like to call attention to a list of resources available to support families with students experiencing mental health challenges and crises. For more specific information, please contact your building guidance counselor.
Lost and Found: The lost and found table is available for parents to search for missing items during school hours. Please remember to label jackets/clothing to ensure they get returned to your child.
Graduate Car Parade: Mark your calendars to join us on Thursday, June 9 for the annual NHSSD graduate car processional. Camp yourself along the route with noisemakers and signs to cheer on the Class of 2022!
St. Baldrick’s T-Shirts: There are St. Baldrick’s t-shirts still available for $5 each. Contact Laurie Palau at firstname.lastname@example.org to purchase. Proceeds benefit the NHS St. Baldrick’s fundraiser.
History of Knowledge with Mr. Achenbach: New date! HS faculty member Fred Achenbach will offer a community presentation titled the History of Knowledge at the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury on Wednesday, June 1. Learn more about this exciting educational opportunity for any students, staff, and community members to learn from one of our esteemed faculty here.
GIANT Round Up Program: GIANT will invite customers to “round up at the register” now through February 28 to support local public schools’ food and meal programs. In addition, the GIANT Company will contribute $250,000 to the cause. Our New Hope-Solebury Food Service Team has tripled their output to provide free meals for all of our students this year! We hope you will consider rounding up on your visits to Giant to support their efforts and our schools.
