    End of 1st trimester: Friday, December 2 is the end of the first trimester and a half day for students. We dismiss at 12 noon. 

    Book Fair: Please check out the flyer for our LES book fair Dec 6-9!

    Car pick up and drop off:  Do not enter the car line in the afternoon until 3:05. The gate is locked and our early arrivers are blocking Sugan Road and our school entrance. Car pick up runs from 3:25-3:40 on the side of the building.
    Morning car drop off is in the same place from 8:25-8:45. Please remember to stay in your car.

    Dismissal Changes: Please call or email the office by 12:00PM if your child's dismissal is different from routine. 

    Free Breakfast: A reminder to families that our school cafeterias offer free breakfast for all students each day. The cafeteria is open between 8:25AM – 8:45AM. Menus are available here.  

    From the Health Office:  Please click here if your child requires a medication during the school day. Please click here (Student Handbook, pages 19-23) if your child is coming to school with a wrap, cast, crutches or any other injury. Thank you!


    REMINDERS
     
    Lunch money: Money can be added to your student's lunch account through School Cafe or by bringing in cash or check payable to NHSD. Funds brought into school should be clearly labeled with your child's name and brought to the main office.

    Laptops:  Please remember to charge your laptop every night so your device in ready to bring in the next day.

    Education Fund STAR Program: As we approach the holidays, the NHS Education Fund’s STAR Program is a wonderful way to recognize an outstanding NHSD teacher or staff member while also supporting extraordinary learning experiences for all NHS students. Make a donation to the Education Fund in honor of your STAR, and they will receive a special certificate to acknowledge your contribution. STAR recognitions are due before Friday, December 16. 

    Adopt-A-Child: Join our district and our HS Key Club in helping to fulfill the holiday wish lists for under-resourced children and seniors in our local communities. To view the wish lists and for further details Click here for more information
     
    HSA Holiday Shop: Community members are invited to the LES Holiday Shop this Saturday, December 3 from 9AM-1PM. Choose from thousands of gifts between $1-$5.

    Upcoming Musical Performances: Join us for a series of winter music concerts this month! The UES Instrumental Music concert is Tuesday 12/6 at 7:00PM in the UES LGI. The Middle School Instrumental Concert is Tuesday 12/13 at 7:00PM in the Buck Theater. The Middle School and High School Choral Concert is Thursday 12/15 at 7:00PM in the Buck Theater.
