  • Kellyann Reidy Presented with the Foundations Community Partnership in Education Award

    Foundations

    On May 16, New Hope-Solebury High School senior, Kellyann Reidy, was presented with the Foundations Community Partnership in Education award.  Foundations Community Partnership is a philanthropic grant-making foundation supporting the behavioral health and human service needs of children and young adults in Bucks County. The organization awards scholarships to one senior in each Bucks County public high school who demonstrates academic excellence and a commitment to human services in Bucks County for children, youth & families.

  • The Lion's Tale Earns First Place

    First Place

    New Hope-Solebury High School’s newspaper, The Lion’s Tale, earned first place from the American Scholastic Press Association. Journalism teacher, Mr. Drew Giorgi, presented the award to the paper’s editors in chief Joey Tebben, Margaret Burmester, Krupa Shah, Lauren Walinski, and Caroline Donado.

  • Brooke Rosenberg Excels at the Special Olympics

    Brooke

    Brooke Rosenberg competed in the Special Olympics for the first time over the weekend of May 11th to May 12th. She won gold in the first freestyle race and the backstroke. She also brought home silver in the relay and a ribbon in the final freestyle event of the weekend. Congrats to Brooke on her success!

  • JESSICA STEINBERG RECEIVES AQUETONG WATERSHED ASSOCIATION’S 2019 MALCOLM P. CROOKS HONORARY SCHOLARSHIP

    AWA Scholarship

    The AWA established the Malcolm P. Crooks Honorary Scholarship to be awarded to a civic-minded NH-S High School senior who has displayed excellence in science and who plans to continue his/her formal education in the broad field of physical sciences.

    In the fall, Jessica will attend the University of Pittsburgh Honors College and plans to major in bioengineering or biology. At NH-S High School, she achieved an excellent overall grade point average and excelled in many AP science courses. Jessica also served as an officer in the Environmental Club, volunteered as a junior firefighter in the New Hope Eagle Fire Company and served on New Hope Borough’s Junior Council.

  • Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick Visits New Hope-Solebury High School

    Fitzpatrick Visit

    Mr. Fitzpatrick visited New Hope-Solebury High School on April 24th to discuss his experience as a House Representative and fielded questions from students. The event was hosted by Mr. Kevin Nord and his AP Government and social studies classes. All were welcome to attend.

  • Zachary Buchler Nominated for The Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, MA

    Zachary Buchler

    Zachary Buchler, a Sophomore at New Hope-Solebury High School will be a Delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Lowell, MA on June 23-25, 2019. The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians or go into medical research fields. The purpose of this event is to honor, inspire, motivate, and direct the top students in the country who aspire to be physicians or medical scientists, to stay true to their dream and, after the event, to provide a path, plan and resources to help them reach their goal.
