Three teams from our Upper Elementary School participated in the 2023 BCIU STEM Design Competition. The competition challenged students to identify an environmental problem and to help solve it. Over 170 elementary teams entered and only 17 teams were selected as Semi Finalists, with our three NHSD teams among them. One of our teams, a team of fourth graders, including Madeline Gabrielson, EJ Bernard and Camilla Povilaitis earned third place! Their team created the RSC- Robotic Space Cleaner, a vehicle serving the purpose of keeping space clean! Congratulations to all of the participants and to their teacher Mrs. Sutton.
