Therapy dogs are visiting the LES to engage kids! Click here to read more details!

Our district has launched an exciting partnership with The Constellation Project to introduce therapy dogs into our schools. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting students’ social and emotional wellness and to meeting the needs identified by the most recent Pennsylvania Youth Survey. “Research suggests that experiencing trust and affection from a therapy dog can help students gain confidence and motivation, reduce anxiety, and enhance their relationships with peers and teachers—all of which supports better learning in the classroom. This is why we are so excited to move forward with this project for all students, K-12,” explained Colleen Bell, Supervisor of Student Services.
