St. Baldrick's Foundation

Last weekend’s St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fight to Cure Pediatric Cancer event was an incredible success, raising $140K (and counting!) to fund lifesaving research.

Held at the Upper Elementary School, students, staff, and members of the community showed up in force to support this worthy cause.

From shaving heads and donating hair, to carnival games, crafts, auction items, vendors, food trucks, and more, we would like to commend the amazing team of dedicated New Hope-Solebury Community volunteers who made the day such a big success!

Here's some of the highlights of the day:

• 62 shavees

• 10 individuals donated 8 or more inches of hair

• Nearly EIGHTY NHSD Lion student and staff volunteers.

Initially launched as a way to honor Ethan Toohey and Robert Nagg, class of 2014 NHS HS students who lost their battles after a brave fight with cancer, the event has now collectively raised over $1.5 million to support lifesaving pediatric cancer research since it started. We are so proud of our Lions and community as we continue to grow that number year over year.
