Through the New Hope's Public Art Program, the Middle School 7th grade art students were provided the opportunity to work with artist Mike Gyampo. After sharing his work with the students, Mr. Gyampo taught the class the technique he utilizes to carving Styrofoam sheets into shapes to build a sculpture. Pondering the environmental impact of this traditionally trashed material, Mr. Gyampo has shared his inspiration with the students.
