MS students on the earned SWIBIS retreat

At New Hope-Solebury Middle School, School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) is embedded into our daily routines and culture. Through clear expectations, consistent feedback, and data-informed supports, we cultivate a learning environment where every student can thrive. A key component of our framework is recognizing and rewarding students who consistently demonstrate our Lion Pride values.

We are fortunate to learn in such a remarkable community- and we leverage our setting to celebrate students’ success. Earlier this week, eligible students enjoyed a special off-campus reward at Village Pizza in Peddler’s Village, where they shared lunch and positive time with friends. Experiences like these reinforce the connection between responsible choices and meaningful privileges, while strengthening our school community.

From the Principal, Erik Pedersen: “SWPBIS isn’t just a program- when students meet high expectations with kindness, effort, and integrity, we honor that with memorable experiences. Our goal is simple: help every child feel seen, supported, and proud of who they are becoming."

Way to go Lions!
