Author Angela Cervantes joined our sixth-grade students virtually today. She shared her journey as a writer, her inspirations, and her successes, and answered thoughtful questions from our students. Not only is Angela an award-winning author, but she was also selected to write the novelizations of Coco and Encanto. In addition, she gave us a sneak peek of the 2026 American Girl Doll of the Year, Raquel, who is inspired by Angela herself! We are incredibly grateful she was able to spend time with us today.
