Crowd waiting for winning announcement

The 2025 NHS Spirit Week was a record-breaking celebration of fun, competition, creativity, and supporting meaningful causes!

Students embraced this year’s College Game Day theme with exciting dress-up days, decorations, and more. From a lively talent show and intense hallway decoration contest, to sports nights and trivia, the week culminated in an unforgettable Blue and Gold Games.

The success of the week was a team effort, with both students and staff contributing to building school spirit and supporting several local charities.

Throughout the week, our Lions achieved amazing things:

·     Raised $926 for Special Olympics at the first Polar Pop event (Thank you, Ms. Erica Rudesyle & Unified Bocce)

·     St. Baldrick shirts sold out almost immediately and six people volunteer to "brave the shave" at the upcoming event on March 15.

·     Over 100 cat toys made for donation (Thank you, Ms. Sandy Serafin & Animal Awareness Club)

·     Over 1,000 handmade cards for children in hospitals (Thank you, National Honor Society, Ms. Alicia Anderson, & Ms. Staci Shade)

·     400 lbs. of trash picked up during campus clean-up (Thank you, Environmental Club, Ms. Carey Lever, & Mr. Leo Macdonald)

·     14,000 lbs. of cans going to food banks throughout Bucks County

·     A truckload of donated sports equipment going to students in need

Drumroll please...a total of $22,045 was raised and donated to the Children's Miracle Network to support kids in area hospitals--over DOUBLE of what was raised last year.

Although both teams did a fantastic job, the Blue Team took home the win at the end of the week.

A special thank you to Mr. Jon Gonsiewski for his leadership in making this initiative a reality.

Congratulations to the entire NHS team for their outstanding efforts in making this year’s Spirit Week truly one for the record books!
