To further our district's efforts to prepare future-ready students, we are reimagining our Upper Elementary and High School libraries to better meet the needs and ambitions of the 21st century learner. Soon to be known as Learning Commons, these spaces will be equipped with flexible furniture and strategically arranged to foster both individual growth and collaboration. These renovations reflect the dynamic and increasingly diverse functions of a school library. They will position our spaces to be vibrant community hubs, encouraging interactive learning, strengthening peer connections, facilitating access to technology and digital resources, and adapting to the needs of the modern learner. The renovation plans have been formally approved by the Board of School Directors and will begin this summer to be ready when our students return in Fall 2024.
