Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic: If you are not eligible for one of the Medical Assistance programs but you meet certain income requirements, you may qualify for free medical care, dental care and prescription medications through the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic. The clinic provides care for eligible patients through the volunteer efforts and financial support of numerous healthcare providers, community members and Doylestown Hospital.
HealthLink Dental Center: HealthLink is a free dental clinic serving uninsured, low-wage earning adults and military veterans in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
Doylestown Hospital Financial Assistance: Even if you do not qualify for any of the free healthcare services, the Doylestown Hospital Financial Assistance Program may be able to help you with your healthcare costs. Whether you are uninsured or underinsured, there are times when your portion of the healthcare bill represents a significant percent of your total household income, making payment a financial hardship. In these situations, financial counselors at Doylestown Hospital are ready to help you determine the available payment options for the hospital portion of your bill. Special financing programs, sliding scale fees and charity care may also be available to those who qualify.
Bucks County Department of Health: The Bucks County Department of Health offers free immunizations, lead screening, an STD clinic, Women Infants and Children (WIC) benefits, and a housing program if you are at risk of or have lost your place of residence. Real Alternatives Empowering Women: Real Alternatives helps pregnant and parenting women through its 1-888-LIFE AID hotline and the services provided by pregnancy support centers, social service and adoption agencies, and maternity homes it funds throughout Pennsylvania.

McKinney-Vento
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act is a federal law that ensures that homeless children and youth will secure immediate enrollment in school, facilitating the stability of their education. The term “homeless children and youth” refers to individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or similar reason.
The New Hope Solebury School District has designated its Director of Student Services as the liaison for students in homeless situations.

Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter
The Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter is a temporary residence for individuals and families who have lost safe and stable housing run through Family Services.
The shelter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It serves as a temporary home to approximately 75-90 people at any given time.

Bucks County Housing Group
The Bucks County Housing Group provides a wide range of housing, food, and related social services to homeless and food-insecure families. They operate community-based programs including Permanent Supportive Housing and Bridge and HOME programs, Rapid Rehousing programs, free first-time homebuyers counseling, two community food pantries located in Doylestown and Penndel, two Mobile markets, three community gardens, and 87 scattered-site affordable housing units. Their services span the entire continuum of need to best serve our most vulnerable community members with the primary goal is to assist families in attaining permanent housing and food security.

Bucks County Housing Authority
The Bucks County Housing Authority works to provide safe, sanitary, and decent affordable housing for all eligible persons, regardless of race, sex, color, age, religion, familial status, disability, handicap, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status. Public housing programs are offered to those with low income and very low income families, seniors (62 and over), and non-elderly disabled individuals.

Utility Assistance Programs
Facilitated by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, low-income households or households going through a hardship may qualify for assistance with utility bills. This includes electric, natural gas, water and other additional assistance programs.
