Our Elementary Campuses
New Hope-Solebury School District is home to two elementary schools:
Lower Elementary School (LES), located on North Sugan Road in Solebury Township, serves students in grades K-2. With approximately 250 students, LES focuses on early childhood education, providing a nurturing environment that builds foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Upper Elementary School (UES), located on the West Bridge Street campus in New Hope, serves students in grades 3-5. With around 300 students, UES offers a curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, preparing students for middle school and beyond.
As part of the Lions Legacy 2030 Vision, we are focused on several key improvements at our elementary schools to create future-ready learning environments.
These include transforming traditional classrooms into dynamic, flexible spaces that encourage collaboration and innovation, upgrading our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) facilities, designing dynamic learning commons, and modernizing our visual and performing arts spaces.
We also plan to revitalize outdoor learning areas, providing hands-on learning opportunities that engage students with the natural world.
These enhancements aim to foster creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability, ensuring our elementary students are well-prepared for the future.
The New Hope-Solebury School District is currently exploring options for the future of our elementary schools as part of the Lion Legacy 2030 Vision. We are evaluating the long-term sustainability of maintaining two elementary campuses versus consolidating into one unified campus. This investigation is focused on creating the best possible learning environments for our students, while also considering the district’s educational vision and financial sustainability.
Over the course of this investigation, the District will be soliciting feedback from staff, parents, students, and the community to ensure that any future decisions reflect the needs and values of all stakeholders.
