New Hope-Solebury School District Celebrates the Grand Opening of Asplundh Stadium

New Hope-Solebury School District was proud to commemorate a major milestone this week with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Asplundh Stadium – Home of the Lions. The event brought together hundreds of community members, students, staff, and supporters to celebrate the completion of a project that has been years in the making.

Attendees enjoyed music, free concessions, games, giveaways, and prizes while checking out the new facilities. The newly unveiled stadium complex features a modern field house with concessions and restrooms, a state-of-the-art scoreboard and sound system, an updated press box, and enhanced seating that offers a scenic view of the field.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our generous donors whose support made this achievement possible. We would like to thank our Legacy supporters, including Carl Hj. Asplundh Jr. and Family, an anonymous donor, the Robert Nagg Memorial Fund, New Hope Helping, River House at Odette's, Neshaminy Electrical Contractors, First National Bank & Trust Co. of Newtown, and the Feehan Family. Plus, a big thank you to all our staff and volunteers who helped with the event, with a special shout-out to our booster club representatives who ran the concession stand.

This new facility will serve as a central gathering place for our school community and a proud home for our student-athletes for years to come.
