At its June meeting, the New Hope-Solebury School District (NHSD) Board of School Directors approved the implementation of paid public parking during off-school hours in select District lots. Revenue generated through this initiative will support student activities, booster club programs, student support funds, and parking lot maintenance.

Effective July 1, paid parking will be enforced in the following locations:

  • Lot A (District Office)

  • Lot B (Theater)

  • Lot D (Middle School)

Parking fees will be applied on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the summer, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays during the school year. Paid parking will be temporarily suspended during school activities and special events, such as athletic competitions or performances, or as otherwise determined by the District.

The District has selected ParkMobile as the authorized payment vendor. Patrons may pay via the ParkMobile app or by calling the designated ParkMobile phone number. Clear signage will be posted at participating lots, with detailed instructions on payment procedures.

The New Hope Borough Police Department will oversee parking enforcement, including ticketing, and will retain any revenue generated from parking violations.

NHSD students and staff are required to display valid District-issued parking permits during school and non-school hours and will not be subject to parking fees. Additionally, local businesses and nonprofit organizations may apply for a limited number of parking passes for their employees to use during working hours.

This initiative reflects the District’s continued commitment to enhancing student experiences while maximizing the use of school resources to benefit the entire New Hope-Solebury community.
