New Hope-Solebury School District is proud to announce that 106 high school students have been recognized through the College Board’s AP Scholar Award Program for their exceptional performance on Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
“We couldn’t be prouder of our students and the effort they’ve invested in their academic goals,” said Mr. Patrick Sasse, principal of New Hope-Solebury High School. “Their success in such challenging studies demonstrates both their perseverance and passion for learning.”
These students represent the Classes of 2025, 2026, and 2027, and their accomplishments reflect exceptional academic commitment and excellence. This year’s honorees include:
35 students recognized as AP Scholars
22 students recognized as AP Scholars with Honor
49 students recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction
Additionally, seven of the student honorees earned additional recognition including:
4 students also earned the AP Capstone Diploma
3 students also received the AP Seminar and Research Certificate

The AP Scholar Awards recognize students who demonstrate exemplary college-level achievement through their performance on AP Exams. The award levels include:
AP Scholar: Students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
AP Scholar with Honor: Students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams.
AP Scholar with Distinction: Students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
AP Capstone Diploma: Students who earn scores of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research and on four or more additional AP exams.
AP Seminar and Research Certificate: Students who earn scores of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research.
