Dear New Hope-Solebury School District Families and Staff,
As 2025 winds down, I am grateful for our dedicated staff, remarkable students, and supportive Lion community. The school year has already brought exciting accomplishments—from national recognition by U.S. News & World Report to a record-attendance at LionFest, to hosting a public Pennsylvania State civic education policy legislative hearing, and participating in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps 250th Homecoming STEM Competition.
Our students have enjoyed meaningful learning experiences through field trips, classroom visits from professionals, and enhanced learning spaces with flexible furniture. We also welcomed new leadership, including Ms. Stephanie Washam as LES principal and Ms. Anne Tamporello as NHSD Athletic Director.
Our commitment to academic excellence, comprehensive extracurricular and athletic programs, robust parent education, and extensive community service initiatives continues to foster a strong sense of pride across our Lion community.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited for new opportunities for our students—including the Duke of Edinburgh Award program, international travel, the continued rollout of Conscious Discipline, the 10-year milestone of APEX, and our beloved traditions including field days, sing-alongs, and days of service leading up to the celebration of the Class of 2026.
As we head into winter break, I wish our entire Lion community a healthy, safe, and restful holiday season. May this time offer moments to pause, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for an incredible 2026 filled with opportunity, growth, and of course, Lion Pride!
