Out of an abundance of caution, New Hope-Solebury High School and Middle School were placed in a brief lockdown on March 26 due to an unidentified individual on campus. During this time, hallways were cleared, and students and staff followed emergency protocols by remaining in locked classrooms.
Local law enforcement and school security responded promptly and conducted a thorough investigation.
As a precaution, Upper Elementary School (UES) buses were temporarily rerouted to Lower Elementary School (LES).
The situation has since been resolved, and the individual has been identified. The buildings were cleared, the lockdown was lifted, and all schools resumed their normal schedules.
