LionFest 2026 brought our Lion community together for a day filled with school spirit, friendly competition, and opportunities to connect! From the excitement of the student pep rally to volleyball games, a community carnival, and our Homecoming football game, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The pep rally brought plenty of blue-and-gold spirit as students cheered on classmates and staff in some friendly competition, with the Blue team taking home the Spirit Lions in the end! Our volleyball teams also took to the court, while the community carnival offered fun for all ages before the excitement continued under the Friday night lights as our Lions faced Delaware County Christian in the Homecoming football game.

A special highlight of this year’s LionFest pep rally was the unveiling of our new Lion sculpture. Students submitted name ideas, and staff voted to select the winning name: Lionardo! We love seeing our students play a role in celebrating and shaping our district’s traditions.

Created by students, our art department, and renowned sculptor Mike Gyampo, and made possible through a partnership with New Hope Arts, the sculpture is a meaningful addition to our district and a lasting symbol of Lion pride. We look forward to celebrating its installation at an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 22, at 6:00 PM at the District Office. Community members are invited to join us for this special occasion.

Thank you to everyone who helped make LionFest a memorable celebration of our students, schools, and community. Events like these remind us of what makes our Lion community so special. Go Lions!
